The Longest Winter

"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us."

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Welcome spring. We have been waiting for you. I'll be honest with you, October to April, was fraught with fear, uncertainty, and sadness here in the Chandler household. While the season's change has not magically wiped our hearts or minds of doubt or fear, it does feel like a new breath of life to us.

Throughout this incredibly difficult season in our lives, The Lord has been our constant source of comfort, and we praise him not only for his comfort but for his timing and grace. While I am hesitant to share my story online, I am also excited to share my story so that I can hopefully, like the scripture above says, be a comfort to others the way God has been a comfort to us.

In addition to sharing my story here on the blog (be patient, it is a long one and difficult to tell), I am excited about new things in our lives like a new campus our church recently launched, photographing our first beach wedding this summer, and a new workout I am in love with. Have you heard of MADabolic? Can't wait to tell you about it, and so much more.

So spring, we are excited to have you here, but ask you to be kind to us. :)
